MICHAEL JACKSON’s personal physician DR. CONRAD MURRAY has landed a lucky break in his child support case after his ex agreed to waive the $13,000 (?8,125) he owes in missed payments.

Murray, who is currently under investigation over the death of the King of Pop, risked arrest after he skipped a hearing at a Las Vegas Family Law court last month (Oct09) to answer claims he had fallen behind on months of payments to Nenita Malibirian.

He blamed his absence on an “oversight” and agreed to go before a judge this month (Nov09).

Murray appeared in a Las Vegas court on Monday (16Nov09), when the mother of his son agreed to write off his debt provided he starts paying $1,003 (?630) a month.

Both parties agreed to the settlement and it was signed off by the judge after a 10 minute hearing, reports TMZ.com.

Murray must now keep up to date with the monthly support cheques or he will face jail. He is due to return to court on 4 January (10).

Investigators looking into Jackson’s death have focused their case on Murray, who stands accused of administering the powerful prescription drug Propofol to the superstar prior to his death on 25 June (09).

Los Angeles authorities have yet to file any charges against Murray over the tragedy, which was ruled a homicide in August (09).

Deadbeat Dad Michael Lohan

Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter to slam her dad as a 'lunatic' as the NY Post reports she and her mother are taking Michael to court for a restraining order and over overdue child support. Michael recently claimed his elder daughter was on death's doorstep and is hooked on drugs.

Meanwhile, Sunday's New York Post reports that Lindsay and mom Dina may seek a restraining order on Monday "following Michael's statement that he wanted to kidnap her and force her into rehab," and that he's way behind on child support for his younger two kids with Dina.

"He is also six months behind in his child support. On Monday, we will file a violation order, and if he doesn't pay, he'll go to jail.


"He's getting paid for these shows he's doing talking about Lindsay," Dina said. "He's flying all over the country and not paying for his other three children he's hurting every time he goes on television.


Lohan is now in Morocco, earning a paycheck to show up at a resort opening.

The controversial star told how her mother Dinah, blames herself for staying with Michael for so long. Lindsay confessed she would beg her mother not to leave him in case he committed suicide.

She went on to say “Its so sad that I even have to share this with everyone but I haven't had a real relationship with Michael Senior in years. That is the truth.”

Lindsay, who has an on-off relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson is attempting to get a restraining order slapped on her father.
